Engineering services
Water/Wastewater Engineering
Treatment facilities, pump stations, septic systems, and PFAS removal.
Site & environment
BBD’s water/wastewater engineers provide services for rural utilities, small communities such as camp sites, manufactured home communities, and water/wastewater distribution, collection, and treatment systems. Our differentiator is a unique portable package treatment system that helps clients achieve cost-effective and efficient decentralized projects, equally applicable to water and wastewater treatment.

Why BBD Engineering
Water and wastewater projects rarely stand alone. Because we keep every engineering service under one roof, your treatment design is coordinated with civil site work, environmental permitting, and structural and electrical design from day one — one team and one point of contact from planning through operations.
Licensed Professional Engineers
Every set of drawings is prepared and sealed by a licensed PE and designed to the codes that apply to your project.
One Coordinated Team
When your project crosses engineering services, the same team handles all of it, so nothing falls through the gaps.
Clear Quotes and Timelines
We scope and quote each project up front, with honest timelines and responsive communication throughout.
Licensed in the Lower 48 States
Our professional engineers are licensed in all the lower 48 states and are familiar with each state's unique rules and regulations.

Frequently asked questions
Who do you design water and wastewater systems for?
We serve rural utilities, small communities such as camp sites, manufactured home communities, and private clients who need water or wastewater distribution, collection, and treatment systems.
What is your portable package treatment system?
Our differentiator is a unique portable package treatment technology that enables cost-effective decentralized projects. Its innovative multi-level design produces treated water with up to 14 levels of purity, ranging from ultra-filtration (UF) to reverse osmosis (RO) quality.
Can you remove PFAS and other difficult contaminants?
Yes. Our multi-contaminant system can remove minute amounts of a selected contaminant, down to a few parts per trillion (ppt) of Per- and Poly-Fluorinated Alkyl Substances (PFAS), even in the presence of several high-level co-contaminants.
Are your engineers licensed in my state?
Our professional engineers are licensed in all the lower 48 states and are familiar with each state’s unique rules and regulations.
Related engineering services
Projects that need water/wastewater engineering often also need civil engineering, environmental engineering and surveying and site assessment. Because every engineering service sits with one team, the same engineers coordinate all of it, and you can send everything at once with an engineering services work request.
