As a BBD Marketing Associate you’re an independent partner — no set hours, no set location, no engineering background required. We supply the brochures, business cards, and a company email address. You make the connection; our engineers do the rest.

Before You Sign

No. Marketing Associates are independent contractors. You set your own hours, work from anywhere, and are responsible for your own taxes — the Company does not withhold taxes or dues on your behalf.
Your 5% new-business commission is payable no later than 45 days after BBD receives the client’s payment on the first project. Repeat-project commissions (2%) follow the same pattern. You can be paid by direct deposit or by check to your mailing address.
When you sign the agreement, you’re issued a unique reference code. Either you or the client must mention that code at or before the first contract with BBD — it’s how every job is credited to you. No code on file at that point means no commission is payable on that job, so make sure it’s always mentioned.
No. You make the introduction and pass the potential client’s information to our staff — BBD’s licensed engineers handle the scoping, design, and delivery. We also supply brochures, business cards, and a company email address to support you.
Anywhere that suits you — there is no set location or schedule. If you’d like a desk at our Winter Haven office, one can be made available.
Either party can end the agreement at any time with a minimum of 7 days’ advance notice. There’s no penalty and no long-term obligation.

COOPERATION AGREEMENT

I. The Agreement

EnviroPFAS LLC, DBA BBD Engineering Design Firm, located at 1552 6th Street South East, Winter Haven, FL 33880 (the “Company”), wishes to engage the services of the undersigned (the “Marketing Associate”, hereinafter) according to the terms of this Agreement, which is hereby made by and between the parties.

WITNESSETH

WHEREAS, the Company desires to retain the Marketing Associate’s services as an Independent Contractor of the Company in accordance with the terms and conditions stated in this Agreement; and

WHEREAS, the Marketing Associate desires to accept the cooperation and receive compensation from the Company.

Duties

The Company:

  • The Company will provide all the material needed to the Marketing Associate to perform the stated duties, which will include but is not limited to brochures, business cards, and a functioning email address.
  • The Company will provide compensation according to the terms stated in this document.

The Marketing Associate:

The Marketing Associate agrees to perform the following duties:

  • To promote and market the Company’s products and services to potential clients and solicit business in a professional manner.
  • Convey and report the information about the potential client to the appropriate staff member of the Company.
  • Follow up the progress of the potential opportunities. The Marketing Associate’s engagement by the Company is subject to his/her agreement to the terms and conditions contained herein.

Location

There is no set location. The Marketing Associate can operate from any location which can be suitable. An office desk at the Company’s premises could be available if needed.

II. Compensation and Benefits

The Company will pay the Marketing Associate on a commission basis. The Marketing Associate will be paid at a rate of Five Percentage Points (5%) of the total value of the new business which he/she brings to the Company. The compensation will be payable no later than 45 days after the receipt of the payment by the client for the first project. In addition, the Marketing Associate will receive a Two Percentage Point (2%) commission of the value of any repeat/residual projects which follow the original projects. Upon execution of this Agreement, the Marketing Associate will be issued a unique reference CODE, which should be conveyed to the management of the Company either by the client or the Marketing Associate. The Company will use this CODE to allocate and pay the earned commission. No compensation will be payable on any job for which the CODE is not presented at or before the first contact between the Company and the client.

III. Expenses and Other Items

Expenses

  • Each party will be responsible for their own expenses, such as travel or other expenditure.
  • At the discretion of the Company management, the Marketing Associate will be reimbursed for expenses which were incurred as a result of an authorized activity, such as attending a trade show or an authorized meeting.

Withholdings. The Company will not withhold any taxes or dues to the government on behalf of the Marketing Associate. The Marketing Associate will be solely responsible for all applicable taxes and dues.

IV. Termination of Marketing Associate’s Engagement

Termination by Marketing Associate. This Agreement may be terminated by the Marketing Associate at any time, for any reason. The Marketing Associate may terminate this Agreement with a minimum of 7 days advance notice.

Termination by the Company. This Agreement may be terminated by the Company at any time, for any reason. The Company may terminate this Agreement with a minimum of 7 days advance notice.

V. Acceptance

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this Agreement effective as of the date set forth below.

This Agreement does not make the Marketing Associate an employee of BBD Engineering or its affiliate companies. Also, it indemnifies the Company from all actions, liabilities and responsibilities.
